Our story began in the back row of a Celebrate Recovery group. We were a handful of people who had walked the long road — some sober for years, some just starting — all of us hungry for connection that felt real. Over time, internal strife began to cloud that space, and what once felt safe began to fracture.

Rather than give up on recovery, we gathered in a coffee shop one evening. Just six of us. We talked, prayed, laughed, cried — and decided to keep meeting on our own. From that spark grew something beautiful: a recovery family rooted in authenticity and grace.

Today, Living Sober, Living Whole stands as a living testament that healing doesn’t always happen inside the walls we start in. Sometimes, it begins the moment we step out together — not away from faith, but toward freedom.

We’re not professionals, we’re not perfect — we’re people who believe that wholeness is possible, and that sobriety is just the first step toward a life worth living.
